PAX East 2014 has come and gone. We of Skylance Studio attended again this year to demo Hamster Drop in it’s release form!
This year we had even more! Not only did we have the full game to demo, and available to buy, but we also had a whole box of those adorable plush hamsters to buy! But why stop there? We made a whole batch of buttons for the pilot hamster, and Raye! Even ultra high quality print posters for the super fans! The whole event went over extremely well. We didn’t have a thing left by the end.
Even bigger, we also had a very awesome surprise special guest! Who? FInd out more below!

The game is out for iOS now! We worked very hard to get this game ready and released, despite the delays. You can pick it up on the iTunes app store!

As you may already know, our Lead Artist has been posting pieces of Hamster Drop art to share on his deviantArt page. I would like to follow up the art reveals with a little talk about the art direction from my position of Creative Director. In addition to guiding the art direction, I also had a hand in coloring the characters.

I apologize for the wait on this next entry here. As you may be able to imagine, time can get a little cramped on projects. Regardless, here we are for another post!
As mentioned before, this post will be regarding my experience at PAX East, not as an attendant but as an exhibitor. What did I experience? What can you expect if you want to exhibit? All answered and more.

Hello and welcome!
I am Marc Wyzomirski and I have founded the video game company Skylance Studio, LLC. We have revealed our first game at PAX East 2013, Hamster Drop!
So what is this Hamster Drop? You can check it out at the Facebook page. It’s a small title for mobile platforms that borrows from the old arcade classic days with a simple and intuitive, yet very fun gameplay. The object of the game is to save falling hamsters by catching them with your trampoline. You must also avoid nasty hazards such as bombs.
