How incredibly busy things get. I would have liked to have updated more, but all my other duties really had to take priority. It will be worth it however, as Hamster Drop is entering the final weeks before we release on iOS.
So how does this all break down?
If you haven’t heard from other sources, we are indeed planning to release the iOS version within the next couple of weeks. We should be finishing up development by the end of this coming week, then we have to submit it to Apple for review. This process can take a week or more, depending on what they find when they test it. Apple tests the game for things like crashing, general quality, and if it meets their guidelines. Look forward to saving those hamsters really soon!
OK, that’s all well and good some of you may be thinking, but what about the Android and Windows 8 versions? Once we’ve sent off the iOS version to Apple for certification we’ll immediately be working on those. When can you expect them? It’s hard to say at this point. We’ll be trying our best to get at least one of the two out for Christmas. In the coming weeks we will have more information available about this. Stay tuned. I’ll post about it here, on the main website, on the facebook page, and on our twitter page, so follow any of those and you’ll know when we have more info regarding that.
Now I must get back to work to make sure Hamster Drop is ready for you all to play! In the mean time, here are a few exclusive screen shots for this post.
